Some of you had mentioned that you were looking for great ways to save on vacation and travel. The best way I can tell you is to shop around. Vacation deals are more common than most people think but a lot of people don’t want to take the time to actually check. Shopping around gives you the chance to compare prices to see who’s really going to save you the most money.  When I’m traveling, I generally start shopping around as many as 6 months ahead of time. In most cases, the earlier you purchase, the better the deal but keep in mind, this isn’t always the case.

Two really great sites that I love to use personally are Travel Zoo and Dunhill Travel Deals. Both of them offer me great deals that I get notified of in my email. This allows me to keep track easily of who’s got what where. Another great one to check out is CheapFlights. CheapFlights will help you scour thousands of prices on airfare and generally will give you the best deal. One other great one is Bing Travel. This is one that I use frequently as it has a price predictor on it and will tell you if you should purhcase your plane tickets now or wait.
